Lisa Melmed, Director & Producer
Lisa is a Brooklyn-based director, producer, and writer of documentary films. Her first short documentary, Little Rink, about the quirky world of competitive table, was an audience award winner at the 2020 Austin Film Festival and was licensed by the Madison Square Garden Network.
Lisa was a writer/producer of B’ars to Bears: Hershey’s Hockey Dynasty, a feature documentary about the storied American Hockey League franchise, the Hershey Bears. She was the executive producer of the feature documentary, Only the Dead Know the Brooklyn Americans, which premiered at the Brooklyn Historical Society.
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Lisa also holds an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
David Broad, Producer
David is an independent producer based in Brooklyn. Through his imprint, Left of Frame Pictures, he produces documentary-focused branded content for clients such as Adidas, IBM, and General Mills. He also works in narrative film and TV development, where he developed Chef Driven (PBS), a travel & cooking tv program, with director Aaron Colussi. He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with honors and a minor in history.
